Bean Dip

This is a simple tasty snack that my friend Mika made one day. It's kind of like salsa but without onions or heat. It is really great (and my kids love it too.)

Black Beans

Garbanzo beans

Orange bell pepper, diced


Tomato, diced

Avocado, diced

Cilantro, chopped fine

Add ingredients together and serve with chips or whole grain crackers. (Hit it with some lime juice and crushed pepper if you want!)

Thanks for the comments and tips. There is a great deal of wisdom that you imparted to me. A couple of things I will share... I have done a lot of changing of eating habits. Part of my daily menu is that I eat oatmeal twice a day. I really think that this is important. I am trying to put more grains and veggies in the diet, something that I only ate when attached to my cheeseburger... No more of that.
